Updated and published just before the digital camera age began in earnest, this book still provides a wealth of solid general photography information, tips and suggestions. Now 35mm film is making a comeback, it's refreshing to see that many of the films mentioned are still available today.

This is what got me started learning about the fundamentals of photography. I have so many fond memories of this book, and of taking the lessons learned within the pages out into the world with my Ricoh KR5. For many years I thought I had lost this book, but was pleased to discover that after over 10 years apart, it was found in my brothers book shelf, and we were re-united again!
