This is a book that is likely to appeal mainly to fans of Dark Shadows and/or All My Children, the television series for which Louis Edmonds is best-remembered. I would have enjoyed more insight into his personal life, but there were enough details to hold my interest. Much of the book reads like an extended Wikipedia entry, unfortunately, establishing a chronology of Edmonds’ stage, television, and film appearances, but often without very many details. Nonetheless, this is an enjoyable book, a quick read, and it provides a look into the real life of an actor many of us remember fondly.

I liked this book VERY much. One of my favorite actors. I know Louis Edmonds from his days as Roger Collins (and other characters) on Dark Shadows. And don't forget Langley Wallingford from "All My Children"! He led an amazing life, acting on Broadway and other venues in various plays. A very sweet, caring person. Very humorous....think dancing in only a G-string, friendly, kind. Many friends. A full life for sure.

Love this read about Big Lou’s life . He lead a very full and rewarding life . He was kind and caring . Very talented character actor .

I think this would have been a much better book if there was more about Louis' life. It read like an extended resume. I liked knowing all the theater productions he was in. The reviews gave the impression there would be more about his personal life.
