Conclusion to the story and let me say this books is 75 percent the same thing. The group is tearing up the house looking for the treasure. There is a new girl who has power over Eric and Viktor has power over one of the friends. But literally nothing happens for like 120 pages. Then the end comes to a crazy conclusion that was only okay. I literally don’t know why this story had to be two books totally not necessary. Also side point all the authors books have an alcoholic parent and a seems like an unfaithful boyfriend or girlfriend so it’s predictable that it’s gonna be in the book. Also these books are barely thriller no real tension and only a couple obvious deaths. A let down for the final of Lockes Bantam books.

Originally published in 1994, "Blood and Lace" was a series of perhaps 2-3 paperback originals. I suspect that this series was marketed as YA, as the majority of characters are adolescents....at any rate, the plot concerns one Sabrina Van Fleet, who discovers after the death of her parents, that her "uncle" is in reality a vampire, who seeks to turn his niece into one of the undead, and take possession of her house, where he has hidden a tome of black magic, the Black Grimoire - which was stolen from the witch who changed him into a vampire with spells from the same book....

Written by horror scribe Ray Garton, the reader will find all the usual vampire abilities - changing into mist, inability to tolerate garlic, and shape-shifting....no glittering vampires here...

I'm not sure how many books exist in this series...I have Deadly Relations, and Vampire Heart....certainly worth a read (I finished this book in under a day)....

This book reminds me of the new Dark Shadows movie, though not so much of the Dark Shadows tv show, though I've only seen a few episodes of that... but I thought it was interesting that they had a similar feeling and kind of a similar plot and setting.
