The official children's photo guide to The Return of the King.
The final film in The Lord of the Rings trilogy follows Frodo's heroic struggle to destroy the One Ring and restore peace to Middle-earth.
As the armies of the Dark Lord Sauron come together, Gandalf and the rest of the Fellowship are drawn into the epic War of the Ring. While his friends fight for their lives, Aragorn must decide whether or not to fulfil his destiny and claim his place as the King of Gondor.
Was not worth the $7.50 (AUSD) I payed at a secondhand bookstore for this. Having only 48 pages you’d think a little more time would have been taken to ensure what limited writing featured in the book was error free; but no. The images featured were not all even of basic good quality, with many having blurred sections as if photographed while watching the movie rather than found with real research effort. 1/10, never again.
In the book The Return of the King by J.R.R Tolkien adventure and risk are the main components of this novel. This book consists of the genre realistic fiction and is very interesting. Some of the main characters include Frodo Baggins who is the main character and has the hardest task he must get to mordor and destroy the ring that contains evil. He is assisted along the way by many people but his best friend Sam Wise Gamgee helps him the most. This task might take there lives but it will benefit the rest of the world. Sauron and his evil men are trying to take of mankind by killing everyone. This ring will cause them to take over if it is not destroyed in the fires of mordor. Smeagol was a man that needs the ring but he is trying to trick frodo into giving him the ring he is leading their journey to mordor. This book is filled with adventure and war. I loved this book and found it to be very interesting. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes exciting journeys. I would read this book many more times if I could. I'm so glad that I chose this book. It is filled with lots of characters and even some of them are really funny.
Much like the Two Towers photo guide; some things in here are actually not in the film (but, sometimes, in the extended version) and some things are omitted (because of not being allowed to be included I suspect, although in one case this actually makes things better). It's written in the same simplistic style too, but it's ok.
Was a bit random reading these again, but they're short so it's not like it takes up much of my time!
