Her educational background is in anthropology and she is an adjunct instructor at a private, liberal arts college. 4 1/2 stars!! Consequence is book 1 of spinoff trilogy Secrets of Eaton. It can be read as a standalone, however I recommend you read the Women of Eaton trilogy first, where you meet all of the wonderful secondary characters. One of those books, East of a Eaton, was one of my most favourite books of 2013!! These are fun quick reads; yet full of richly detailed characters, and fun gritty storyline. This particular book is a second chance romance. Boone the town sheriff, I fell for in previous books, and couldn't wait for his story. The romance is gorgeous, with plenty of naughtiness. Hot sex scenes!! There was little angst between these two characters falling in love. However there was a side story of a murder mystery, that caused more than enough angst for me!! There were Oh No!! moments!! And Oh Boone, How Could You?!!! But you'll have to read this to find out what that is all about. Really enjoyed this book, and book 2 is about to come out in April.
