The subway map in the back was a lifesaver, especially with the blow-up of Manhattan. Other than that, there is a good overview of the major "Things To Do", which was pretty awesome.
Also, the book is pretty small, so it fits well in a purse/day bag and doesn't add too much weight. I did a lot of walking, so that was very important.
I may have missed it, but it would have been nice if there had been a 'estimated travel time' for different points on the subway/areas of the city. But that's probably asking way too much.
