Documents the pell-mell pace of a major political campaign--Cuomo's remarkable, come-from-behind victory over Mayor Edward Koch in the primary and his victory over millionaire Lew Lehrman in the race for the governorship of New York.
Mario Matthew Cuomo served as the 52nd Governor of New York from 1983 to 1994. I had a copy of this book some years ago and it was gone in one of my moves. Today I purchased a mint thrift store copy for fifty cents. I'm looking forward to re-reading it in a new century, and in the light of his grown sons, one in the New York governor's office and another son on CNN. I can also relive the election year autumn of 1982 when I worked as a broadcast station assignment editor.
