I probably would have loved this book if I'd read it in junior high, but it was really upsetting to read it now and see a child placed in so much danger when there were so many other options.

Good little story - perfect for Christopher/Matt/Sarah. About a young girl who has to ride her horse - back in late 40s/early 50s - from one side of Montana to the other, to get help for her Grandpa. She gets into some frightening situations and is smart enough to get herself out of them.

Another childhood favorite. This one was awesome because the girl rides a horse :D

I loved this book as a kid, was fun to read it again. Pretty predictable, but nice light read.

Loved this book when I was young. Nice to have an adventure book about a girl. This must have been in my orphan and or horse phase.
