I appreciate the scope of this book, ranging between continents, perspectives, times, and more--the enlarged "where" of "ever," which, despite the specificity of time and places and details in this book, I can't help but read as the ever of war for our war-mongering country.

Favorite line: The river is silk.

quite bizarre this offering from Jane Miller, the setting of her book seems to be mostly in Japan, it's an interesting tale she weaves between pagodas and atomic bombs. plutonium and life events. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to poets, poetry lovers and mystic orientalists of all kinds.
