Different edition though. This was given to my son, and as we have other guides I was going to pass it along, but I just realized that it is quite detailed despite being "a simplified field guide" and small enough not to take up too much room in the glove compartment!

A great introduction to birding. There are so many types out there and if this is a hobby you want to pursue, it’s important to learn the little things such as various characteristics and identifying flight silhouettes.
