Emily Sutton has a problem. She is the final hours before her lavish society wedding to Michael Chambers, and he just informed her that he can't marry her.
Jordan Chambers, Michael's black sheep brother, has stepped forward to save Emily from embarrassment and in order to save an important business merger between their two families. But is that his entire motivation?
Jordan has wanted Emily since the moment Michael introduced her to him as Michael's fiancee, but no Michael is out and Jordan has stepped up. He isn't going to waste this opportunity to have the woman he loves for the rest of his life.
I loved this story because it was very interesting. You hate Michael, love Jordan, and wait for Emily to realize the way she should feel. I also like how Emily is also dealing with her own drama in finding her birth mother and hitting brick walls. The whole story is just interesting.
Jordan is a lovable character and I liked him for the first moment I noticed him on the page. Emily and he have a great chemistry and she is so much better off with him that with Michael.
Overall I loved the book and just wished it was longer.
