A lot of this didn't apply to me as I work from home - there's a lot of lengthy preamble about working in an organisation etc. A lot of the detox process was pretty basic, but if you're in a complete state it wouldn't be a bad idea to start from scratch. But although I'm not following the detox process, there were a few very good ideas in there which I'm using, with some success.
I liked the idea of energy maps and clustering your tasks. Rest of the book was not for my work, for eg. I dont really need to clean my desk since my desk only has a computer and a notebook. So this book might not be for everyone.
This book’s essentially a ten day programme because the authors know you don’t have time to tackle it all at once. A little bit dated, but the idea of a day agenda, and planning for what could amount to a big project show thought’s gone into it.
I finally gave up on finishing this book and this is my second attempt. I am not sure if the writing style or the layout, or both, that bored me out fairly quickly.
Average. I read a copy from the library. I would not recommend it for purchase since it really doesn't cover much that isn't common sense already. It would be good for those who need a defined day-by-day plan to help them make life changes.
