The version of this book I read had 2,753 penny pincher ideas and was published in 2003. This book was give to me last Christmas as a joke, because I’m considered the penny pincher in our family, but it honestly had some great ideas in it as well as items I was already aware of. Because if it’s publication date, there were several things out of date, i.e. information related to computers, taxes, and retirement funds, but overall, many of the suggestions are timeless, like have an emergency fund, shop off season and sales, and save old Xmas cards and cut designs off the front of them to use as gift tags. What a practical suggestion. Wish I’d ran across it years ago. This book is a keeper for my reference book shelf. Two thumbs up!
