I gave this book a heavy skim, as my library wouldn't renew my check-out. It's a broad, covering-all-bases kind of book that seemed to lean more heavily towards opening a brick-and-mortar business as opposed to an online one, which is what I'm interested in. It does a decent job of making you aware of certain things that you should research more in depth, but doesn't actually give you that in-depth information. For instance, when speaking about trademarking your brand, it refers you to the government's general patent website. Well, duh. It'd be kinda nice to know *where* exactly in the website I should be finding the info, and not have to weed through the thousands of non-applicable pages that site contains. So, in short, I'm glad I didn't buy the book. But there were enough nuggets of wisdom that it wasn't a waste of time.
