One of the best, if not THE best, book I have read on coping with diabetes because it recognizes that the person needs to do the often difficult work of accepting their diagnosis before adopting the lifestyle changes necessary for living with it. Several challenging exercises are presented that challenge the reader to confront the fears, misconceptions, and denial felt by the newly diagnosed diabetic and move them to a place where they are physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually ready to face their disease head-on. A must read for diabetics AND the people who love them!

Was first eBook download from my Public Library. Did not provide any information I did not already know through my doctor and nutritionist.

May be useful for someone just diagnosed, but did not do anything for me.
