After becoming a parent, Ariel has become my actual nightmare!!! What did I do to deserve Ariel being my toddler's favorite princess?!? You are 16! You're too old to be playing pretend wedding to a guy you've never talked to, let alone selling your soul to a sea witch just for a chance with this guy! What if he was a loser? Let your frontal lobe develop before making decisions!!!! I need my toddler to find a new princess to obsess over. Rant over!

I was disappointed in this book. I thought that it made Ariel seem too young. It all seemed a little forced also and I didn't feel like Sebastian or Flounder were true to their characters. The illustrations were good though - they did look just like the movie. It was an ok book all together, but I was hoping for more.
