I have liked this book a lot. In spite it comes from the analogue era, it is a great source of inspiration. Many of us do not carry many filters to the field. Still, I believe most of the described techniques can be applied in the post stage. The results in terms of the aesthetics achieved are IMHO still completely relevant today.
