I can NOT believe there are so few people who've read or done a rating and review on this book! I wish I was able to do it justice but I'm afraid you'll just have to read the book.

This book was given to me by my mother who'd picked it up at a used book sale. She was drawn to it for a reason she couldn't explain and she felt like I needed to read it after she'd finished. Neither of us had ever read anything written by Adele Rogers St. Johns. Mrs. St. Johns was a VERY well known and well published author of non fiction, fiction and articles.... so it was strange that we'd not heard of her. I believe the high time of her fame was during mid twentieth century though so this was before I could consider myself a reader.

In "No Good-Byes", Mrs. St. Johns writes for the first time about communications that she and people close to her have had with those who have died. Basically, what we in modern terms call a "medium". It solidifies, for me, that death is not the end. Energy is neither created nor destroyed, right? So if that's true, in death, we just go somewhere else! Apparently, from what she writes, our jobs aren't done here on earth. We have jobs in the great beyond too!

I know this is a subject that is hard for so many to believe in. It goes against what many religions teach. Keeping a broader, more open mind, I've always felt that religious people try to put God in a box or limit God. There HAS to be more than what our little brains can comprehend. For this reason, I absolutely loved "No Good-Byes"! It gave me a peace that I can't describe. I'm so glad Mom came across this old battered copy!
