Unlocking Secrets of the Unknown With National Geographic by the National Geographic Society (National Geographic 1993) (910.9). This is sort of a “best of “ books featuring the explorers who led some of the Society' most exciting expeditions. Richard Leakey, Jane Goodall, and Jacques Cousteau are each featured. My rating: 7/10, finished 2001.

The chapters in this book could be titles of books themselves. Each chapter is a wealth of information, and, true to all National Geographic attempts, all are filled with amazing photos.
