I really enjoyed this book of poetry lent to me by my professor in my Advanced Poetry Workshop. I am finding that I love poems with a narrative voice, feel and structure. James Harms fits the bill very well and his poems were moving. I can't quite compare him to anyone else I have read at this point, but I will also admit that I am not very well read when it comes to poetry, at least not yet. If you like the narrative style, check him out.

For full disclosure, this guy was one of my professors at West Virginia University.

He loves the word "Quotidian," and a good number of his poems try to capture "The strangeness of the ordinary and mundane."
