Rate this book
Mills & Boon Blush series brings you moving, true-to-life romancesMARRIAGE OF INCONVENIENCE

Unfair exchange?

Veronique Dutot and Burton O'Rourke each has something the other needs.

Veronique is a talented chef, while Burton happens to need a chef for a new cooking show he's about to produce.

Veronique, on the other hand, needs her visa extended so she can live in Vancouver near her former mother-in-law.

Burton proposes and old-fashioned solution to their very modern problems. A temporary marriage. A marriage of convenience.

Veronique accepts although there's nothing temporary or convenient about the way she's starting to feel.

I quickly realized I was going to enjoy this book, but it did kind of annoy me when the author kept having the female main character saying(Oh La La) in the beginning of every sentence

Given to me as a joke, but I read it anyway. Not as bad as expected. Not much to the whole thing. predictable but comfortable.

She's a chef, in Canada when her work visa runs out. He is her producer and marries her so she can stay. And of course they love each other finally.
