What can I say? This is Dorling Kindersley at their best! Beautiful photography and interesting text. Arranged alphabetically, information is easy to find. The pictures make this book interesting to even the youngest child while the more mature text make this a useful resource through the early teen years.

My 7yo loves this book so much. We have used it all year long as part of our curriculum but he has spent a lot of time browsing through the pages. Definately a keeper!

This book got me my start in biology, and now I love it. For instance, I study taxonomy for fun. Call me crazy.

Beautiful book, with a huge span of flora and fauna. Mine has a different cover, for personal cataloguing purposes.
