An excellent book for adding information to either paper or computer group sheets and genealogy programs. The section on Family Search is woefully outdated, and there are conflicts with recommendations by the National Genealogical Society (NGS) for adding information. If you are a member of NGS, see the excellent free course on Genealogy Basics.

This is not a citation manual, but should be used in tandem with one such as Elizabeth Shown Mills Evidence Explained.

A good basic reference guide.

No frills and very specific book that is about organizing your genealogy data. Great if you have wonderered, for example, how to enter information about an ancestor's nickname or about a location, so that you can be more efficient and accurate and so that others can follow your work.
