I like Frances Vaughan's writing style. I believe that her intent in this book was to stimulate interest on the part of the reader towards further study and a deeper understanding on the subject of transpersonal psychology. In a very gentle and general way, she covers everything in this book. The extensive notes, at the back of the book, offer further study. Enjoy!

Well-written but basic. Hard to know how to review it because, although it didn't add much for me, it might have huge revelations for others? I dunno.

I believe like some others that her writing talks about heartfelt authenticity on one’s spiritual quest in a time when there are many following ungrounded and uncontemporary spirituality.

Eclectic religion and spirituality. Some good information on spirituality and gender and the history of psychology.
