Best fluid dynamics book i ever encountered. I'm still atonished, an engineering book with a good reads profile! eager to find my bible, Moran & Shapiro
Almost all books in fluid mechanics for engineering undergraduates are more or less the same. The reason I chose to read this book (cover to cover by now having done teaching assistantship in solid mechanics multiple times) is that I picked it up in third semester for AML160 Mechanics of Fluids during undergrad in Mechanical Engineering at IIT Delhi. At that time I mostly ran through the examples for help in doing the course assignments. Over time, I got opportunities to read/describe various sections to students and I found that the book is very helpful in that. Hence, I would definitely recommend the book to not just students but instructors as well.
You want to know that you don't know anything about math and science...this is the read for you. Loved the class, the concepts, etc.. what a book --- yes, Rob, it counts as a book...
A valuable resource for students and professionals: Whether you're a student seeking to grasp the basics or an engineer looking to apply these principles in your work, this book is an invaluable tool.
