Read this one in a single day. I enjoy his writing style... just wish there was some vegetable gardening mixed in with all of his flowers and dhrubs!

Home Ground: A Gardener’s Miscellany by Allen Lacy (Farrar Straus Giroux 1984) (635.9). This volume is a collection of essays by the former garden writer for the Wall Street Journal. This is quite a funny book. My rating: 7/10, finished 2004.

I like Allen Lacy and all of his books. He tends to always come up with something out of the ordinary to peak your attention and I always learn from his reads.
