Jack loves the Sunes and Lakers but he decides to start reading but it is not something he likes to do he is only doing it so he can get a chance to win a free trip to Paris. One of his friend that is homeless asks him to take a cake to his grandma that has a green beard. At first jack was confused but he takes the cake with him anyway. When jack gets to the airport police are suspicious of him find out the cake had drugs. They then thought he was a smuggler and started checking him they try to cut open his basketball to see if he had any drugs in it but jack wasn't going to let that happen so he runaway from the police until they weren't after him.He comes along a tall mountain and falls that's when Dr.Stein finds him and tries to take him to the hospital but jack doesn't want to.Dr.Stein decides to let him stay at his house and jack lives there for a while.Something that bothered me in this story was that the police let him escape and didn't find him.I liked how the Arthur was brave enough to run away.People who like to read action and crime books should read this also it starts off a little boring but later gets into the juicy stuff.

Book from my childhood that I did not enjoy upon re-reading - it was fine, but nothing really engaged me.
