The fact that the author completely misunderstood the ending scene in Saving Private Ryan and previously showed he had little grasp on German WWII military units killed it for me. The introduction is almost as long as the entire book. The chapter I read before stopping in disbelief wasn't at all what I expected. How can you write a book about 1. Hollywood without understanding the film you are reviewing and 2. history, when you have only a basic notion of historical matters.
