~Disclaimer: I received a free kindle copy of this book.~
This poetry book didn't end up being my cup of tea. There were a few in here that resonated, but generally, it wasn't a good match.
The poetry didn't tell as much of a story as I like in my poems. It was fairly descriptive though and if that is the kind of poetry you like give this a shot.

Garden Walks: Hand in Hand - Poems to Relax By is a book of poems by Gary William Burns about gardens, love, and a little pain. Gary William Burns uses a relaxing rhythm and cadence to calm you. Even the photos have a calming effect. He shows you the beauty and wonder of nature and love. Even the pain is shown as beautiful. He describes the scenery in great detail. It almost sounds like music. It’s a lovely book of poems and should be read in the garden for even more effect. It’s a short book with many short poems that can be read in one evening.
I thought Garden Walks: Hand in Hand - Poems to Relax By was a lovely read. Gary William Burns does a wonderful job with the rhythm and cadence. I like that it has short poems and the book could be read in one evening. I think it’s a great way to relax, especially with a nice cup of tea. Gary William Burns does a wonderful job with imagery and setting as well. I can literally see the gardens and flowers he describes. I was impressed at how I could feel the love. If I had to choose a favorite, I think it would be Garden Nova, but honestly, it is hard to decide. I loved how peaceful I felt afterwards. I wished I had a garden after that. I think that the next time I need to relax, I will resort to this book.

Beautiful Work
I really enjoyed Garden Walks by Gary Burns. You can tell by his technique that he is very talented. I actually enjoy nature much myself and was very intrigued with how each piece was a specific portrayal of the human condition in relation to nature. I love the rhythm and his intricate description of scenery in his work the imagery was rewarding. He conveys heartfelt emotion well. Lastly I’ll say that my favorite poem was “I’ll Be Here” I know that feeling all to well. I fell in love with this work and treasure it.

Makes you think
I really liked this book, it is a easy read. There were many times I had to stop and think about the poems and what they were signifying. My favorites were Wildflowers
Today in the rain
You holding me
Sparrow and the rose.
It brought lots of great memories back of my mother and grandmother. Thank you Mr. Burns and Goodreads for the free book.

Relaxing poems
I actually enjoyed the poetry in here. It seemed like I understood most of them, which is nice for once. This ebook was not compatible with my kindle, so I had to read it on my phone. I personally found that to be a little difficult. But all in all, I would re-read this and recommend to others.
I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway.

I received this in a goodreads giveaway.
I couldn’t really get into the poems in this book. I couldn’t really connect with them. I found some to be good.. but they just weren’t the types of poems that I enjoy reading.

Won this book on a Goodreads Giveaway and it was a pretty quick read. There were some poems that I liked but overall this wasn't the right vibe for me. I looked forward to the garden focus, as a gardener, but the poems were fairly simple and didn't focus on my favorite things about the garden. Good book and might be a better fit for other readers.
