Good overall explanation of key science topics for KS1/2. Slightly confusing at times and also fairly dull (which is my personal problem, not due to the authorship!). I always found Biology far more engaging than Chemisty or Physics and it appears this is still the case.

This would definitely be a good book to keep on one side and skim through before a lesson or refer to during one if asked a question you were unsure about!

Contains some good ideas for lessons and activities and also small info boxes which explain key studies of children's knowledge and understanding of the topics. Also lots of helpful diagrams.
