I gave this book a go because I'm going to be going to an author signing this author is attending and wanted to give her a try. I ended up really liking the story when I wasn't so certain at first, because first and foremost, Killian is a total fuckboy. Like, bad, lol. But both Killian and the story definitely won me over. I really loved the fact that it was Molly that really pursued Killian. He was super attracted, but bound by the bro code and Molly was just not having it! I thought the banter between them was great and the smexy times were super hot. TONS of chemistry. Just a really great read that'll definitely hit the spot.

These two have some history but nothing to crazy so reading how they come together is good. Molly comes home to regroup herself for her fall out in New York and her Ex. Killian is living his best life since he not in the ring anymore. The night Killian and Molly run into each other is the is the start of their love story. I’m leaving so much out because this is just a must read.

I’m very much a mood reader, and this book satiated every last one of them for me. I received an ARC copy and I am so thankful that I was blessed enough to not have to wait to ride the wave that is Killian and Molly's relationship.
The brother’s best friend trope is usually hit or miss for me. This one HIT! The pacing was perfect. The angst was appropriately placed. It had moments of laughter and joy that had me grinning from ear to ear. I found the characters to be relatable and the spice was *chefs kiss* so good. It was an overall great read. 10 out of 10 will be reading again.
I will try not to go into any spoilers, as you should most definitely take this journey yourself, but I really want to speak about the things I loved about Last Round.
First of all, Bex is everything! MVP best friend of all time in my opinion. I would love to see a book revolve around her.
Killian “KO” Murphy, my god that man is my favorite kind of damaged. I love a fictional man who feels unworthy of love. When in reality he is a good man with a heart of gold hidden under a fuckboy exterior. He deserves all the love!!
Molly was so relatable to me. I see pieces of myself in her. That hurt little girl inside, forced to hold it all together because things could be worse. “Faking it to make it.” Knowing what she wants, even though she feels she can’t have it, and holding on to hope that maybe she’ll get to have it after all, if she helps him open his eyes. Fierce and brave! She was everything I love in a FMC.
That first date! Everything about it, from the google searches to the actual event, had me in my feelings in the best way. Especially growing up a skater girl myself ;)
The spicy scenes were extra yummy because of the buildup to get there. Climbing the ladder indeed! That scene after Sean fucks up. OMG! So hot. It healed me a bit too. I shed a tear of happiness.
Once again this book was fantastic. I’m not surprised as I am a big fan of Frankie Page’s writing. I’ve already recommended it to my bookish friends and can’t wait to purchase a physical copy to add to my Book Dragon Hoard!

This book is a must have for your collection! Not only is the cover absolutely delicious but the spice is red-hot, the story gives you all the feels, and the character development is incredible! I giggled, screamed, and melted under the covers.
If you’re into alpha males and strong-willed women don’t delay! Killian and Molly’s tale will warm more than one appendage.

This was so much fun!
The story had amazing characters that I loved and felt a friendship with and deep caring for.
Killian showed so much growth and I felt so sad for him at times.
Molly showed strength and courage but also embraced a fun playful side that I think she missed out on during childhood.
Sean...Sean made me frustrated and kinda mad more often than not. I felt he had blinders on for a lot of things and with different people.
These three will always intertwine (best friends sister troupe, not trouple lol) and I think the way the story unfolded was perfection.
I will absolutely read any future stories in this world surrounding these characters.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVVVVVED THIS BOOK!
Killian "KO" Murphy is soooooo delicious. I want to ride the rainbow... IYKYK...and if you don't you need to go read this book right now. This is hot,sexy,lots of banter, and just perfect read. Although this is a standalone, it does have references from characters from the Moore series. Hands down one of my favorite reads so far this year. " Chefs Kiss"

Absolutely loved it! When she started talking about MN. It had me hooked. I grew up 25 mins from ST Paul, and also went to the Bam event at MOA. I love how Killian and his furry firecracker were with each other. Molly is such a vibrant person. And Killian balances her out so perfectly!!

I absolutely LOVE this book. It’s a knockout!!!
Killian lives his life uncensored and is an unapologetic playboy. He even has a pantyboard in his bar to prove it. Along with some creative tattoos. But there is one woman who stops him in his tracks.
And that woman is Molly. Who also happens to be his best friend & business partner’s sister. If that doesn’t make the story sexy enough; add in their 12 year age gap and she is also his employee.
There also needs to be some more tension - right?? Killian didn’t recognize Molly when she first stopped at his bar. This led to an absolutely fun and feisty exchange between the two of them.
Molly knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go after him. Killian tries to resist but she isn’t going to give up that easily. The teasing and flirting is delicious; it’s worth the wait 🥵🫠 There are other external factors that they have to navigate along the way that made this an engaging read. Molly is one sassy, awesome woman. And Killian left me laughing, panting, and swooning with the things he did and said. (His dirty mouth 🤤).

Last Round by Frankie Paige is the touching, sizzling story of Killian and Molly. He is a bartender/co-owner of a bar. Plus, he has his hands in a few other things…Molly is back home after a stint in NYC. She takes a position as waitress at her brother’s bar. They meet up, and the reunion doesn’t go exactly like either of them thinks….
So much happens in this totally engulfing read!! Both of them has issues in their past…which threaten to come back full force! Plus, there’s the awkwardness between them…and maybe something more?

I will forever be Mrs. Killian "KO" Murphy!! This man stole my heart with his possessiveness, he stole my soul with his eyes & he stole my kitty with his banana. This is my top read for the year and Killian is my one & only book husband. The banter between Killian & Molly is hilarious, but their sexual chemistry is off the charts. I want to ride the rainbow all day and night. I loved seeing previous characters from the Moore Series and introductions to new characters. This book will make you laugh, drip & fall in love. I want more of them and want to read about Killian and Molly forever. I want a glimpse into their future. I'm ready for another round!!

OMG! What a fantastic and utterly delicious story this was!
I couldn’t wait for Killian’s story as I have been fascinated with that man since he first appeared in the previous stories. He’s so deliciously sexy, domineering, flirty, the ultimate playboy and he has a way of making every woman’s panties completely melt off their bodies just from one simple look from him. But it was time for Killian to finally meet his match, and boy oh boy does Molly know just how to play the game!!
Killian and Molly have a fantastic connection as they have known each other since they were kids and Molly is Killian’s best friends, little sister. Molly has had a crush on Killian forever and now that she’s back she is ready to try to make Killian hers. So you just know that the tension between them is going to be incredibly hot.
Their back-and-forth banter was filled with funny moments, devious moments, and some very intense and spicy moments between them that were so damn hot I think my panties combusted! I think every time he backed Molly into a closet and whispered in her ear, I was just about ready to die. I could not wait for either of them to give into that intense, scorching hot desire that was raging between the two of them. I was ready for it and so was my B.O.B.! And OMG does Killian ever have a filthy mouth on him! I wanted to ride the rainbow and climb that ladder!

I loved reading Killian and Molly's story. I honestly couldn't put it down.
We started with Killian being a player and his wall of trophy panties in the bar until he met the ONE. Only he doesn't realize that she's off-limits to him.
Then we have Molly, who is such a brat and is determined, no matter what, to get Killian to notice her for who she is now and ignore that she is Sean's little sister. She listens to her best friend, Bex, for tips on how to dress to get his attention. Even when it makes her uncomfortable, you have to love her tenacity.
Once Killian and Molly give in to their feelings, it's explosive, not only in the bedroom. Her brother Sean doesn't take it well, and then her ex from New York shows up to train at the gym.
This book has a lot going on, from a reformed playboy, the age gap, the brother's best friend, throw on the ex, the brother's reaction, and lots of spice; you won't want to put this book down.

Well, that was amazing! I freaking loved that and it really helped get me out of a MINI book hangover. It was well written and structured (nothing I hate more than grammatical error and the writing not flowing well). I really loved the story line and the element of mystery based around why Molly left New York, and the reveal was damn good. I loved the people I was meant to love and hated the ones I was meant to hate (ugh Jessica).
I loved Killians character development, I do think it was a tad rushed just in the sense that I never understand the playboy to one women man change happening so quick, but other than that. Great. I loved Killians character development, I do think it was a tad rushed just in the sense that I never understand the playboy to one women man change happening so quick, but other than that. Great. So good, soooo damn good. What did I do to deserve reading Killian Murphy and all of his metal studded glory? I dunno, but I am happy I did. Former MMA fighter, bar and gym owner, panty melting playboy with a wall of "trophies" and he makes the mistake of hitting on his best friend's little sister. Unexpected feelings for the one person he shouldn't touch. I love a pierced, tattooed, well built, witty and funny as hell main male character and Killian was all of that wrapped in a delicious bow. Add in best friends sister/ brother's best friend AND age gap... you had me swooning hard. This was my first read by Frankie Page and it was a pleasure. Fantastic story and amazing writing, the characters were funny, sexy and real.

Killian is used to getting what he wants and whoever he wants. He sees a gorgeous woman in his bar and flirts with her. The woman throws her drink in his face and then walks away. The woman comes back around with his friend Sean. The woman is Molly, Sean's little sister. What now?
It's cute how Killian calls Molly *firecracker*. I feel bad that Killian is running himself into the ground. It hurts my soul for how long Molly has wanted Killian. I couldn't contain my smile when Killian went to get straws. The dress code scene was hysterical. It was a good move on Killian's part to take down the board. The night Killian and Sean drank themselves stupid and Killian called Molly "his" was a night to remember. What a great story! I highly recommend this.

The first meeting was hilarious and I had a great laugh (lol). Killian is an interesting character and his thoughts and ways after Molly to look forward to in the story. Whereas Molly is a very determined and passionate character who I really adore. She is sweet, simple, fun loving and has grown to want what she wants and stick to it until she gets it. She chases him certainly fits the story and makes it more enjoyable. I had a great time reading the story and I appreciate how everything went ahead and took place. Frankie wrote it well to keep her readers stick to the book in this fun loving chase of a journey.

This was my first Frankie Page book and I can honestly say that I am a fan! I thoroughly enjoyed reading Molly and Killian’s story. It has banter, spice, angst at times and I even teared up a couple times. The book went by at a nice pace and the shorter chapters made me feel like I was reading quicker than I was. I can’t wait to read other books Frankie has!

I loved Killian and Molly’s story! Killian really tried to do his best to ignore the feelings he’s having for his best friends sister but Molly is pretty irresistible! Molly has always had feelings for Killian and there’s definitely some issues around that and how Killian has behaved with women. Bottom line is Killian needs Molly in his life even if he doesn’t know it. I loved the chemistry between these two and how pure their feelings are for each other!

Want the most smut you’ve ever read? Well pick this one up! I love me a good best friend brother romance book and this book did it well. It was a semi slow start at first, but it was definitely one of those where I need to keep reading because I need the couple to be together already.

I had the privilege of being an ARC reader for Frankie Page's story "Last Round."
Unfortunately, the minute I started this story I instantly hated it.
The story read as if it was written by a horny male teenager, when it did try to have a storyline it felt too messy and almost didn't know what it was doing.
Even the last couple of pages where it tried to tie up lose ends, it felt the need to shove in as many characters as possible, even ones that barely got a mention throughout the story.
I wish Frankie Page the best of luck with their writing career but their not an author for me.

Wanted to Like This
An age-gap romance between Killian, a retired fighter and bar owner and Molly, his best friend’s younger sister. I really wanted to like this book but it was just too rough around the edges for my taste. He’s been a playboy all his life, until he sees Molly on her return home after living in New York and getting her heart broken boy a lousy ex-lover. She had a crush on Killian when she was younger but he shut her down because of the bro code. This time, she is intent to wear him down.
