A very good and relevant collection of essays for today, especially for the LCA who is unfortunately becoming more progressive as time goes on.

Aside from the obvious - which is its simply unbiblical for women to be pastors and the hermeneutics that allow for women's ordination allows for the ignoring of other parts of the bible (and the further descent into modern progressive ideology as a result), this book brings up some other amazing arguments not often considered. Like the christological reasons that the pastoral estate is best reserved for men.

A truly lucid case is made for the LCMS position ordaining only men to the office of pastor - the opposite case is not Scriptural and we will someday realize in other denomination this is so.
