Seeing Yourself Through God's Eyes: A 31-Day Devotional

An all-time favorite resource produced by biblical counselor June Hunt—one that has powerfully changed thousands of lives worldwide! How Christians view themselves can have a powerful effect on their everyday living. Sometimes negative people or circumstances can leave believers feeling down about themselves. Or an inflated perception of themselves can prevent God from working in and through them. The key to a vibrant and healthy life is for Christians to see themselves through God's eyes. After all, if they don't know who they are, they can't know God's plan and purpose for them. Seeing Yourself Through God's Eyes helps readers understand their true identity as a child of God—as well as their great worth to God. In this collection of 31 devotions they'll discover the exciting transformation that takes place when they see themselves the way God sees them. Includes a leader's guide for study groups.

This devotional covers truths that many women struggle with and all women need to be reminded of from time to time. I highly recommend it.

I read this book daily and wrote my answers and reflections each day. I liked the book; it was easy reading. I really enjoy anything by June Hunt. But, for some reason the lessons in this book didn't charge and stick to me. There were no "aha" moments.

I don't want to discourage anyone from reading this though. My thoughts are my own, and you may not agree with my review at all once you've read it.

Just my honest opinion.

I liked what the book wanted to accomplish but it became hard to read. It was too wordy, I wish the author would have gotten to the point instead of "taking me around the block". I would have enjoyed more biblical information.

I've had this book for years -it was passed down to me from my mentor years ago- and it's was so timely for me to read it now. It was a very simple concept for a devotional - start the time asking God to reveal how He sees me, then read the devo. It's followed by two scriptures that I would paraphrase and last, write a short prayer based on what insight was gleaned about how/in which way God sees me (spoiler alert: much delight and joy, particularly because of Christ, there is no condemnation... Even if I feel as such). It was so good for my soul and a devo that I'll likely come back to again because I'm prone to forget these deep truths.
