This is a book written for college students who might be taking a stress management course for a semester and uses examples and addresses the needs of that target audience; however it is very well written book, and almost anyone interested to manage and prevent stress can benefit from this book.
Although its a textbook, its easy to understand and apply to daily life with many reflections built in that encourage you to see how these concepts can be applied. The last section explicitly references positive psychology based approaches to remain resilient and to achieve peak performances despite stress.
Like all textbooks, it sometimes lacks the latest or most authentic science and research but overall does a good job of explaining the science and practice of stress management and prevention.
