This baby has been with us for quite some years now ... had received it in my @indianmomsconnect @told box 📦
This book was a great help for my son when he was little back then to learn about the famous kite festival of Gujarat and also know quite a lot of facts regarding the kite festival across the globe ... We have our own lil olllie too 🦉... and is still a hit in our bedtime reads 💞

This book is in a series form . The author Shweta Aggarwal has written it beautifully and it’s illustrations are vibrant and gorgeous and is illustrated by somnath Chatterjee.
I definitely recommend it if you and your kid love to go on an adventure ride with Ollie 🦉

As an educator, I look for diverse stories that give children an opportunity to identify with the books they read. I look for books that expose children to and teach respect for other customs, traditions and cultures. Shweta Aggarwal's Dev and Ollie series celebrates the uniqueness of Indian festivals and cultures. She uses adventure and humor to engage children while also teaching them about Indian celebrations happening in various regions of India. Dev and Ollie Kite Crazy takes the characters on an adventure to the Kite Festival in Gujarat. My students love Dev and Ollie. The books have an information/fact page at the end that goes into the history of the festivals as well as more about the customs and traditions. Shweta's books are a must for your multicultural library and are valuable for all children to read!

Great book

Loved the story and illustrations. A fun way to learn about the kite festival of India and the facts given at the end are a bonus. My 6yr old loved the story.
