There are sexual situations, but no graphic sex.
This second part to the book made me like Elijah more and made me realize Charity knew how to jump to conclusions way to fast. I really don't know why Charity didn't just talk to Elijah and not run away from him and why didn't she just call him when she got home and tell him why she ran. That really made me dislike her a lot hope she gets better in the next book

I read the blurb for book one in this series -- it sounded like something a little different -- and it was free, so I one-clicked. This is a new-to-me-author. The easily fixable errors continued in book 2 so 'nuff said. Even so, I'm still entertained and will continue on with Book 3 and 4. Yeah, this series is turning out to be one I don't really understand why, but it has grabbed me and held on. I like the mix of characters, particularly the father/daughter difficulties and how that third party -- the gorgeous New Zealand chief of staff plays right into the scenario.
Not one I'll keep on the re-read shelf but storyline was something a little different, and it served its purpose for a long and rainy week.
Too shortEach book keeps getting better. This one we see more of the struggle that Charity has with her father and we find out why. Charity and Elijah give their attraction for each a go. Even though there's not hot sex around ever turn of the page, I still loved this book. I feel like as the characters get to know each other we are getting to know them to,along with the author . can't wait for book 3
I really enjoyed part 2. The author did not disappoint. I can't wait to read book 3. The only negative is the price for books are expensive for how short they really are.
Reading for me was not always my first choice growing up. If worse came to worse and I’d be bored I’d take a nap. When I saw other people reading to either occupy themselves or as an hobby I’d ask ‘how, why and For what’, but one thing that help me read more was asking myself is this the right book for me.
Throughout my softmore year in high school my teacher had this prominent idea that she going to instill in our minds that we will “love” reading again. In my head I thought I’m like what teacher didn’t think or hope that they would. In the beginning of our schoolyear I would sample books here and there but would never really commit, the first book I was able to do so with was Everything Everything which is basically a love story with some drama which I really liked and I had an idea on what I liked to actually read from there. Then I derailed from there and started reading different things which were not for me because it just wasn’t grabbing my attention, so back to my lovey dovey stories I went and I started the Saving Forever series by Lexy Timms, by far they have been the best. The main character Charity’s big heart and kindness helps her find true love and pushes her to mend broken relationships the author brings us along for all the ups and downs the characters go through and keeps me as a reader wanting more . I’d say my teacher deserves a pat on the back because who knew that’s I would end up picking up a book on my free time just the other day. Sometimes we as people have become accustomed to understanding that one experience is how things always is, sometimes we have to look past the part of it being and obligation and look at fact that this is a published book so it just might be good. So to conclude if your into heartthrobs like me I suggest picking them up because you won’t be able to put them down
Family drama seems to conspire to keep Charity and Elijah's budding relationship off kilter. A trip to New Zealand for his father's funeral ends badly and puts distance between them. When her father invites Elijah to Christmas Eve dinner, emotions and tempers erupt. Charity and her father vent powerful feelings and reveal truths. Elijah tells her father about their relationship and has to do some fast talkingvto explain an awkward moment that Charity's father walked in on. Elijah declares his intentions and Charity is stunned.
I received this audiobook saving forever by Lexi Timms in exchange for an honest review
Book 2 the first 5 chapters Elijah and charity get hot and steamy had to pause it a few times as kids walking about 😳 I’m so hooked on this series I honestly can’t wait to discover more of lexi work Poor Elijah loosing his father, asks charity to accompany him to NZ for the funerals and she does to support him. His moms a bit of a bitch to her T&A I wish charity would shut them up lol Wow chapter 20 was hard & emotional
A great continuation to Charity and Elijah's story. In this book they hit a bump in their relationship. Also Charity and her dad hash it out and secrets are revealed. I enjoy listening to this and can't wait to hear the rest.
This is part two of a four part serial. Charity Thompson is a hospital fundraiser who is juggling work commitments and a new romantic relationship while trying to rebuild a connection with her father. Charity accepted a two-year contract in Atlanta but could not say no to her father when he asked for her help in organizing a hospital function in his honor. Commuting to New York seemed a small price to pay. As the story continues, Charity is happily surprised when her new beau, Dr. Elijah Bennet, joins her in Atlanta during a milestone evening gala. A family emergency calls Elijah home to his native New Zealand and, despite her misgivings, she decides to join him. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned and leaving early to return home found Charity wondering if their fledgling relationship would survive. As Christmas approached, Charity found herself sharing a holiday meal with both of the men in her life – would this provide the healing they all needed or would it drive them even further apart?
This continuation of Charity’s story brought more insight into her broken relationship with her Dad as well as seeing things with Elijah move forward. While Elijah was an extremely successful surgeon, and could have his pick of romantic partners, not everything was perfect in his life. His problems with family seemed to mirror Charity’s own and provided much of the backdrop to this installment. With their own relationship now in trouble, I did find it interesting that two highly successful professionals, whose careers were all about problem-solving, immediately fell into silence to (not) deal with their issues. This is another well-written installment with only minor editing issues. The loving is hot while the drama is tension-filled - I am looking forward to seeing where this will go!
I’m really enjoying this storyline. The characters are well written and likeable. With a bit of drama and day to day life this is a great book. Looking forward to the next book. Great performance.

I love Charity and Dr. Bennet- their story is just starting, yet you can tell it will be a good one! This book starts right there the last one ended. My favorite thing about this series is that there is no actual person trying to sabatoage their relationship and that makes it different from the other books similar to it. I would recommend this book who enjoys a romance. Its short but long enough for you to understand where their relationship is heading.
I was given a copy of the book from the Hurricane Readers group in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed this book. This book continues to follow the characters Charity and Elijah as deal with their relationship and the struggles that come from being apart in distance. I'm a sucker for romance novels so it really didn't bother me that there were a few grammatical errors and there are a few sentences that are missing words. I still enjoyed the book and can't wait to see what happens next.
SO far I am really enjoying this story. and I really liked how this part ended. though it did leave on a part that leaves you curious on what is going to happen next. But i am really enjoying it. and can't wait to read the next one
Can charity forgive her father for not being there when her mother died. She helps organize a event for the hospital & that's where she meets the gorgeous chef. He makes for a nice distraction
Hurricane readers book review gave me the book for my honest review
I have loved this series so far. I originally read the first three books about three years ago and that was the full series at the time. I read book one again recently and decided to read them all and found out that another five books have been published. I love both main characters and it's great to hear where their life's are going. My one complaint is that the five books cost over £10 and they are all just over two hours each. So the bundle is expensive.
