Cheryl Potter was born in Leicester in 1958. Sponsored by Marconi Radar she gained an Honours degree in Engineering. She makes a living teaching maths and science, loves dogs, dancing and being there for her loved ones. Her secret passion and creative outlet is writing. She has had many historical articles published. Her remarkable first novel 'The Witch' was originally published by Robert Hale (London) and Gustav Lubbe (Germany) in 1996. The sequel 'The Witch's Son' followed in 1997 to much acclaim.
