The teaching notes for the Oxford Reading Tree Biff, Chip and Kipper books are full of practical suggestions for using the storybooks, saving you hours of preparation time. They have been updated in line with the simple view of reading and the renewed Primary Framework for Literacy. They now include guidance for group/guided reading, comprehension and word recognition, and assessment. These replace the existing Teaching Notes and Guided Reading Cards.
The storybooks are unchanged, but notes for parents/carers and teaching assistants have been added to the inside covers. These notes replace the existing Take-Home Cards.
Read with my Turkish host family's children. This was a lesson in why I should be reading these readers in sequence, as it started rather abruptly, but unfortunately I lay out the books and the 3-year-old just picks one at random. In this one, Gran is the main adventurer and the children her sidekicks as she lays waste to witches who have taken over a castle. I felt sorry for the green witch; she was just trying to have a cuppa tea!
if you turen into fog what do you think? It is so bad timte for me . because I can't speak and alot of people don't like fogs.
Many picture is so cute. this story is short and don't introduce the main person and other friends. so it is little difficult to find the person's name. The scene that fog turn into King is my favorite scene
