this travel guide to south india helped us get through Kerala and Tamil Nadu, two states in South India. We had been using the general guide to India, but we picked up the South India version while we were there, and we found it more specific and helpful since we were visiting the south.

After reading multiple books on traveling India, this one prevails as the best. I read the 2009 version and would highly recommend it.
