Kindergarten: The Avengers was a great book and when I was reading it I felt happy because I liked how the good guys overcame the bad guys. The result it has done to me is that there is always away to overcome the people who don't treat you well. The reflect that it has had on me till today is that I know that I should never be sad because of the way people treat me because I know I can overcome it.
Meh. It's not horrible, but it's nothing great, either. Very basic information about each member of The Avengers team, including Nick Fury, Black Widow, and Hawkeye, which was nice. Although this book did include Fury, Black Widow, and Hawkeye, I didn't think the story was as interesting as that in The Mighty Avengers.
If my nephew adores this superhero book as much as he likes the others in his collection, then there is going to be a problem. The paper in this one is slick and flimsy, which is not going to enable this book to hold up well to multiple pawings by my nephew and his pack of active, exuberant, grubby/sticky little pre-school buddies. I suspect this book will not be long for this world.
Not what I was expecting when I checked it out from the library. It's for level 2 readers with about a dozen words or so on each page and not many pages. It has a page or two for each of the Avengers saying who they are and whar they do (for example Tony Starks makes things).
