After the second world war, Ter Haar became a war correspondent in Indonesia.

As a hobby he started writing childeren's story. Later he started producing radio drama's.

Great book with 2 stories about the Sinterklaas and Christmas. I bought it because I want to get all the books of Rien Poortvliet. He is an amazing painter. The stories were childish, but that was okay because it is a book for children. I loved the paintings in it. Great artist!
