I admit to not finishing this book. I was more interested in the moving and organizing parts and not so much in the decorating part. The first two sections provided a lot of good ideas, especially as I approach my first military move. I felt like some of the decorating ideas (of those I read or skimmed) were a bit dated, but it certainly is not a valid reason not to check out the book for suggestions and tips to make the most of the transient home that comes with military living.
