In this volume we are starting to see their relationship develop further with new discoveries and communication of their sexual intimacy. I love how cute they are together. It was great to meet the main characters family members and how that dynamic plays out. I feel like there is definitely more character development with Shinomiya. I can't wait until the next volume to see what happens for them next :)

esse mangá num todo é muito interessante pra mim por causa das discussões q os personagens masculinos tem sobre sexo e desempenho, e a desconstrução q eles tem sobre todas as percepções de intimidade, sensualidade e sexualidade q eles tinham antes. e eu gostei de ver isso em um mangá q não é bl, pq mostra q essas discussões não são intrínsecas do espaço de relacionamentos queer ! esperando a tradução do último volume, to muito interessada msm

Another cute volume. Basically have Takayuki meet Mitsuki parents. It's cute moment and makes Takayuki think he's doing okay till he meets Mitsuki's brother. The dude is going through it with his own girlfriend, and maybe Takayuki is the only one to get through to him. It's a little too melodrama at points but also sincerer and the sexy time heats up at the end. Then we end on a sex scene!? NO FINISH IT. Either way good volume. Excited for the final volume next.

Ladies on Top is the first smut manga I’ve read, and I was genuinely impressed, especially with the earlier volumes. The explicit scenes were bold and well-executed, and the storyline itself was surprisingly engaging. I appreciated how it explored the idea that everyone has unique kinks and desires, and how important it is to be open with a partner in fulfilling them. That said, I was a bit disappointed that the later volumes toned down the smut, which felt like a letdown after such a strong start. I also didn’t feel much genuine romance between the leads. To me, their relationship came across as primarily sexual, with the female lead often dominating the male lead in a way that felt unbalanced. While the concept is interesting, I would have liked to see more emotional depth and equal footing between the characters.

Do you know the series is really good but. I feel like I’m just waiting and waiting and waiting for one distinct thing to happen and it has yet to happen in the story. The characters are interesting and the ones that they added in the first two volumes I was intrigued and I want to know their stories as side characters. But I genuinely getting disappointed and bored because the story is not going to go. I also think there’s an issue with pacing. I want to like the story more but I just can’t. Maybe it’s because I’ve also been reading sweat and soap and it’s giving the same premises certain points. They just feel like copycats of each other.

The love I feel in my heart for Mitsuki and Shinomiya is astronomical 💖😭💖 If I love a straight couple, it’s THEM ✨

Honestly, this volume was truly such a delight. I loved seeing them navigate more parts of their relationship and meet part of each other’s family! Shinomiya’s sister was a true icon 🙏🏼 I also loved that Shinomiya was able to help Naoto navigate his relationship troubles. It showed his genuine care not only for Mitsuki but for her family as well.

Honestly, this whole volume made my heart feel warm! I’m sad it’s all going to end in volume 6! 😭 But I’m sure I’ll love it too

Upset to see this ending in the next volume but they’re such a sweet couple and I love the discussions of what makes intimacy important and why people need it/think about why they want it. Especially for older high school readers who may feel pressured to do intimate things to be “grown up.” I love them <3

Really enjoying the slow growth of their relationship, and the difficulties that they navigate through. If you like stories about negotiating sex and figuring out yourself in a relationship, against the expectations of society, this is really worth reading. Apparently only one volume left, so I'll be looking forward to that!

- this volume reminds me again of how complex the MCs, their outlooks, and their relationship are, even tho the plot itself is pretty simple. I love them sm omg. I have such a deep appreciation for them idk if I wanna be Mitsuki or Shinomiya lol
- probably the healthiest portrayal of an adult relationship I've seen in a while. Love this soooooo much
- mitsuki's family is good, too

The thing with the brother did not go where I thought it would go. It did feel a bit like a sex-ed lesson and therefore a bit too late in the series. But the main couple is cute and the sister and parents were being hilarious in the background.

I won't lie, the previous volume was a bit of a let down for me, but this one was much better thank god! I also really enjoyed meeting our main character's family / siblings! However, I'm shocked to find out this story ends in the next volume. sad.
