Gypsy ends up in the small town that the McCassey brothers live and meets Rebel McCassey and falls in love. Only 2 and a half stars for me. I really wanted to like this one because it had a lot of the elements I enjoy in my stories but it didn't work for me. Anyway, there were a few things throughout the story that I had issues with. The story had many holes and didn't make much sense at times. The heroine was borderline TSTL. The hero was fine but not nearly the baddie the reader is supposed to believe. The suspense/villain doesn't show up until well into the story and the dialogue seemed juvenile/immature at times. I won't say I'll never read this author again because I believe she may have potential. Unfortunately, that potential failed for me with this book.
I loved this book! The story, the setting, the premise...everything. All the characters, not just Rebel and Gypsy are so developed I really felt like I knew them. The McCassey's are tough, wild boys who are protective over their family, and that's one of the things I loved most about this book. Rebel is obviously a fictional character, but the traits the author put into him made him seem so real. Everything is so well described I had an easy time picturing him, Gypsy, and everyone else. The humor and one-liners throughout the story were an added bonus. Pick up this book and you won't be able to put it down!
This book was sweet . . . and boring. Way too mushy and the hero was just too perfect. But maybe I just like a little asshole with my romance. The one good part in the book was the end when there's a good old-fashioned shootout. I may read book 2 in the series because it's Blackie's book and he was reckless and probably more interesting than Rebel.
4.5 Stars. These boys are BAD. The characters in this book are so well drawn that it's easy to become involved in the storyline. I really enjoyed this contemporary romance and can't wait to see what the next one is about.
Gypsy Lance is young woman haunt by her father's words~he'll find her. Gypsy finds a new home in Hagerstown and starts over again. Gypsy meets a handsome stranger named Rebel McCassey and the two become friends. Rebel has never met anyone like Gypsy, a spirited young woman, who makes no apologies for who she is. McCassey name is known as trouble but that doesn't stop Gypsy from defending Judd to her boss Sean. Will Gypsy's past come back to haunt her? Will Rebel admit his feelings? Your answers await you in No Worries.
I loved the story and characters in No Worries! The story is well written and honest. The characters are real, honest, down to earth, bold, and unique. Gypsy is my kind of character~determined and honest. Rebel is an alpha male that's got bad boy vibe down. Looking forward to the next adventure in the series.
This was a good book. The steam factor in this book is a lot lower than I prefer with many of the sex scenes going FTB (fade to black). Still, the story kept me intrigued and I liked the end. Curious to see what happens with the other McCasseys.
We met the author at one of Tammy's friends house and bought some of her books. I liked them and couldn't put them down. I have a copy if you want to borrow them.
It was a cute story in a way, but a bit predictable. Felt like something was missing. The characters ... a bit meh. I did finish but not sure if I'll continue with the series at this time.
