It wouldn't take long for a deep sea diver to drown underwater without the correct gear. They use math in many different ways. Knowing how deep they can dive with certain suits on compared to other types of underwater suits requires math. They also need to know how much air is in their air tank, which requires math. If you ever have dreams of becoming a deep sea diver, you should read this book to learn of many more ways that math is a very important part of their life.
