Final book in the set which collects the remainder of the series including some obscure novellettes and short stories taking place in the Dreamlands! This final edition will also contain a special introduction by Brian Lumley containing story notes on each story in the series and a special A-Z concordance of the series by W. Paul Ganley.
Brian Lumley was born near Newcastle. In 22 years as a Military Policeman he served in many of the Cold War hotspots, including Berlin, as well as Cyprus in partition days. He reached the rank of Sergeant-Major before retiring to Devon to write full-time, and his work was first published in 1970. The vampire series, 'Necroscope', has been translated into ten languages and sold over a million copies worldwide.
He was awarded the World Fantasy Life Achievement Award in 2010.
King Kuranes of Celephais sends David Hero and Eldin the Wanderer on two more missions, this time to aprehend a wine seller guilty of the strange behavior of those who drink his wares, which they accomplish but not before sampling the product themselves as you'd expect and running afoul of its effects, and to kill a vampire responsible for the death of an increasing amount of people. I liked this one better than the previous volume. It's shorter but the stories are more interesting.
two great short stories of Hero and Eldon's adventures in Dreamlands. The were published in other works, but this (Book 5 in the set) beautiful leather bound edition was a joy to read
