Helpful guide with pictorial and verbal descriptions of care needs of many common house plants. I was able to take notes about the needs of some plants I currently care for and also write a "wish list" of other plants I'd like to add to my collection. The book also offers suggestions on how to determine lighting supplied naturally and artificially based on window placement and cardinal direction of walls in the home. Lastly it offers some instructions on propagation, repotting, watering, pests and more.

The photography and design is a little dated now but this is an excellent all-rounder book of indoor/house plant advice with lots of detailed plant profiles and very useful general information such as how to figure out what kind of light different parts of a room are getting, which plants are likely to be happy in what rooms and how to repot and propagate.
