Axle Annie, Burskyville's best, most beloved school bus driver, has a big problem, and that problem has a name: Rush Hotfoot. Rush is an absolute menace—always in both a hurry and a bad mood, driving full blast down the street. He even ignores the bus's stop-sign arm! But if anybody can tame the speed grump, Annie can.
Not as fun as Axle Annie, but humor always pairs so well with Tedd Arnold's illustrations. And kids are sure to get a kick out of the wacky things that Rush is up to.
Rush Hotfoot has some serious road rage in this Axle Annie sequel. He's always in a rush for work and doing things like shaving in his car. He is a danger on the road. I'm a sucker for a book where the bad guy turns good in the end.
One of the most delightful read-alouds I've come across in a long time. The illustrations by Tedd Arnold are priceless. The cadence of the text was just joyous even on the first read. Loved it. My kids loved it and laughed and wanted to hear it again and again.
Another great one! This one was actually pretty tender. I am always impressed with those stories that really give your kids some understanding of human emotions without letting them in on the lesson too early. This was adorable and another fun read for me and the kids
A very fun story about a speeder and a bus driver. With illustrations by Tedd Arnold (of Fly Guy fame), you know they are fun and interesting. Asher (3yo) often plays with his little brother saying Dex(1yo) is Axle Annie while he is the Speed Grump.
A sequel that is even better than the first book... we loved the crazy things Rush Hotfoot did while driving and it made a great read-aloud with Annie's oft repeated mantra. So fun.
