Is My Face Red! (Sesame Street): A Book of Colorful Feelings

Rate this book
Emotions are sometimes described in terms of green with envy, feeling blue, and in the pink, to name a few. In this sturdy board book, Elmo, Grover, Big Bird, Oscar, Zoe, Bert, Ernie, and Abby Cadabby show toddlers how different interactions give rise to a range of feelings, at the same time teaching about color, consideration for others, and how language can be used in unexpected ways.

Is my face red! A book of colorful feelings - Grover, Elmo, and friends introduce feelings to toddlers and preschoolers. I love how this book fosters many conversations with your child, including empathy, color, idioms, emotions and how to talk to friends about feelings.

I'm not sure my two year old understood this book, but at least he was quiet through most of it. Love the illustrations!
