I'm giving up on self-help books. I don't know why I bother to buy them because I never finish them. They are always just more of the same, repackaged and regurgitated. Maybe I need to read a self-help book on how to read self-help books!

DNF 15% I’m not sure what I expected coming into this book. Could not get into it at all. The personal examples were lost on me. There were appeals to authority I.e “psychologist tell us … “ with no real references or cites. It seems like it was just this persons example of how they changed something in their life, extrapolated to apply to all life change.

I picked this book up to try and change the direction I was going in my life. It has exercises in the book to help you dig into why you have bad habits or patterns you keep repeating. I like it so far!
